When Selena Gomez launched Rare Beauty, her liquid blush went viral on TikTok so fast it kept selling out. No wonder: her beauty code isn't a mask — it's a fresh face where you can still see the person. Warm skin, a flush of colour, soft glow, full brows and juicy lips. Let's recreate a Selena Gomez–style (Rare Beauty) makeup look on an everyday face — in 6 steps and about 12 minutes. Faster than your coffee order on a Monday.

What you'll need
- 03 CONCEALER by YAEL — under-eye concealer
- a rosy-berry cream blush (any you have)
- DS01 DIAMOND SUNSHINE — highlighter
- 02 POWDERY EYEBROW PENCIL — brow pencil
- 01 EXTRA LONG WEAR VOLUMIZIING MASCARA BLACK — mascara
- 01 LIPLINERPRO — lip liner
- 02 Epic Lip Oil — lip oil
Step 1. Concealer: minus a few years in a minute

Dark circles add years, so we start there. With your ring finger, dab a little concealer into the darkest spot near the inner corner of the eye and tap it out toward the middle. Spot-conceal redness around the nose and chin the same way.
💡 Why this shade. Under-eye darkness is a cool blue-violet. On the colour wheel, the opposite — warm yellow-peach — cancels it out. So pick a concealer with a warm undertone, half a shade lighter than your skin: it brightens instead of plastering.
Tip. Don't rub it in: rubbing moves product around, tapping presses it into the skin. The ring finger is the weakest — and the gentlest.
Step 2. Cream blush: Selena's main secret

Blush is the heart of this look — Selena wears it even on the Golden Globes red carpet. Take a little cream blush on your fingertips and start on the apples of your cheeks — the part that pops when you smile. Blend up toward the temples and sweep what's left on your finger across the bridge of your nose. The effect: fresh from a winter walk, not from a deadline.
💡 Why cream, not powder. Cream melts into the skin and looks like your own flush rather than two painted circles. A rosy-berry shade suits both warm and cool undertones: warm "spring" and "autumn" types go lighter, cool "winter" types can go bolder.
Tip. Build it drop by drop — it's always easier to add than to remove. Colour on the nose bridge is the signature trick that makes the face look sun-kissed rather than painted.
Step 3. Highlighter: a glow from within, not a greasy shine

With a soft fluffy brush, sweep it lightly onto the tops of the cheekbones, the tip of the nose and the cupid's bow — a highlighter is a fine shimmer, not a powder: it catches the light instead of mattifying — only where light naturally hits. That's what makes skin look rested and hydrated.
💡 How not to overdo it. Highlighter should be light, not a stripe. Test: turn toward a window. If the glow moves with the light — perfect. If you can see a line — blend with a clean brush.
Step 4. Brows: full, like Selena's

While everyone was plucking their brows pencil-thin, Selena kept hers full — and they became her signature. Fill gaps with short hair-like strokes, brushing upward; keep the tail thin and follow your natural line. Barely touch the front so it doesn't look stamped on.
💡 How to choose a shade. Dark hair — one shade lighter than your hair; light hair — one or two shades darker. That way brows look full, not drawn on with a marker.
Tip. Brows are the frame: without one, even a masterpiece looks like a passport photo.
Step 5. Mascara: eyes wide open

Push the wand right into the lash roots and wiggle upward in a zigzag — it separates and lifts lashes without a curler. A second coat only on the outer corners gives a soft cat-eye effect. Bottom lashes: just the tip of the wand.
💡 Why no eyeliner. In soft glam, lashes do the work — blush and lips take the spotlight. Eyeliner here is like a tie at the beach.
Step 6. Lips: juicy, red-carpet Selena

Line your lips and blur the liner inward with a fingertip — lips look fuller and natural. Top with lip oil for a sheer wash of colour and that wet-look shine.
💡 How to choose a liner shade. The perfect nude-pink is one shade deeper than your natural lips. Cool undertones — pink; warm — with a hint of peach.
Tip. Liner under oil is the foundation: colour lasts longer and the shine doesn't bleed past the edges.
Selena Gomez look details
Selena's makeup is always about softness: loose waves with a middle part, small gold hoops and a black off-the-shoulder top. No heavy accessories — the blush and the smile are the jewellery here.
Done: the Selena Gomez look

Six steps of makeup, soft waves and gold hoops — and an everyday face looks fresh off a Rare Beauty shoot. Blush is the most honest filter: it says "I'm happy" without a word.
🎬 Why this look? Selena's story in 2.5 minutes
The Selena Gomez look: for every day, a date or a photo shoot
Selena-style soft glam is versatile: by day it reads as "I just slept really well", and for the evening simply add another layer of blush and lip oil.
How do I apply cream blush without patches?
With fingertips, tapping, a drop at a time. Start on the apples of the cheeks and blend up toward the temples. If it goes on patchy, tap over it with a clean sponge.
Why put blush on the bridge of the nose?
It mimics a light sun-kiss and makes the face look alive and fresh. What's left on your finger is enough.
Is this makeup office-appropriate?
Yes. For work, keep blush to one layer and keep the lip oil — it gives colour without an evening vibe.
Which under-eye concealer should I choose for very dark circles?
One with a warm yellow-peach undertone: on the colour wheel it cancels out blue. Apply thinly and tap it in — a thick layer emphasises fine lines.
What is soft glam?
"Soft glamour": even, glowing skin, a flush of blush, emphasis on lashes and juicy lips — no sharp liner or heavy contour. It's the makeup Selena wears most often.
Is Selena's look good for a photo shoot?
Perfect: cream textures and highlighter reflect light beautifully, and the camera doesn't wash out the blush.
